3. The purplebell
The heuchera belongs to the stonebrush family (Saxifragaceae) and consists of over 50 different species. This plant is native to North America. The nice thing about this plant is that you can choose from a wide variety of leaf colors: from green to red, caramel to lime and yellow to brown and purple-black. So you can add depth to your vertical green wall, or perhaps incorporate your logo in this way. This plant can sometimes bloom as well, while also requiring little maintenance. 4. The common oak fern
The common oak fern belongs to the oak fern family. This plant is fairly common in Belgium, especially in forests where there is sand, in dune areas and at the foot of oak trees. Originally, this is a plant that can already grow vertically and therefore well suited for a green wall. The leaves are a beautiful fresh green and can grow nicely wide. Bergenia, like the purplebell, belongs to stonecrop family. The plant is native to areas from Afghanistan to China. This plant is ok called the cobbler plant, because the leaves of the plant look exactly like the sole of a shoe and have the same length. These beautiful leaves are a beautiful green and can withstand winter temperatures well. The bergenia also likes to be trimmed in spring.
